Today, TIME reveals its annual list of the 100 Best Inventions that are making the world better, smarter, and even a bit more fun. We’re thrilled to share that Very client KEEP Labs made the list!

KEEP Labs is a Canadian tech company founded in 2018 by two dads who were looking for a smart and safe way to store prescriptions and cannabis at home. Focused on smart medicinal storage, KEEP Lab’s introductory product is also a CES 2020 Innovation Honoree. You can follow them on social media @discoverkeep.

Very partnered with KEEP Labs to design and build the hardware and firmware for KEEP, as well as the companion mobile application.

For 2020’s list, TIME solicited nominations both from its editors and correspondents around the world and through an online application process. It then evaluated them on factors including originality, effectiveness, ambition and impact. The results: everything from a smarter beehive to a greener tube of toothpaste to the technology that could catalyze a COVID-19 vaccine.

“There’s nothing we enjoy more than helping truly innovative clients like KEEP Labs bring their ideas for connected products to life,” Ben Wald, Founder at Very, said. “This is only the beginning for KEEP, and we can’t wait to see where it goes.”
