The project, comprised of more than 50 engineers, is working to update, translate, and recalibrate the recently released design files for the Medtronic PB560 ventilator. The goal is to make the files — originally completed in the mid-2000s — more accessible so that ventilators can be more rapidly prototyped, tested, and approved by the FDA.
