At Very, we pride ourselves on not only our commitment to providing the absolute best service, but also the culture we’ve developed together. A big part of that has been our adoption of holacracy, an organizational approach where authority and decision-making power are distributed throughout the organization rather than a traditional top-down management hierarchy.
We’re excited to share the news that Very is a finalist for the Business Culture Awards. Alongside companies including Barclays, Jaguar Land Rover, and Vodafone Group Enterprise Operations, Very is entered in the Business Culture International category.
The Business Culture International category is for any organization that “has acted across geographical boundaries at a cultural level, not a procedural one,” among other things, such as “achievements in the areas of leadership, communication, innovation, strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and learning,” all of which are well within our wheelhouse.
The BCA awards celebrate the best of business culture, recognizing transformational work and sharing this with all key stakeholders. Culture is a big part of what we do at Very. It’s the backbone of many of our internal processes, and helps keep us accountable and organized.
The overall winners for their respective categories will be announced on November 29th. In the meantime, we look forward to continuing on the path that has led us to this success and many more in the future.
